Logistics and Food Supply Chain

This training module focuses on the supply chain processes of agri-food products. As part of the broader “Logistics and Food Supply Chain” module, the main scope of this training is to define all supply chain components based on the products defined and developed in Training 1. As participating countries define their specific challenges, best practices and proprietary solutions will be developed. New and additional ways for product marketing will be evaluated, and new market opportunities will be secured with the potential to enlarge the reach of the offered products.

The development of high-quality, innovative products and packaging is targeted to increase market competitiveness. Concurrently, defining new and flexible logistic solutions to support the products’ success is a key priority. The most suitable supply chain concept will be developed for each specific product from all participants, and the number of produced solutions (minimum one viable solution per challenge/country) will be the primary indicator of success.
